Agnes Scott College, Chemistry Department Decatur, GA

Planned and facilitated an interactive course complete with hands on modeling and group work
Developed new quizzes, exams, homework, lecture slides, handouts and other course material
Conduct weekly assessment of teaching skills with student survey responses
Provide individual assistance to students throughout the week outside of scheduled office hours
Work with department faculty as a cohesive team in administrative tasks
Work as the faculty representative in residential education by overseeing the Generating Excellence in Math and Science Living Learning Community and the STEM House Living Learning Community.

Student-taught a Biochemistry course for 20 undergraduate students at Agnes Scott College
Met weekly with a cohort of graduate students to discuss lesson plans, approaches, challenges, etc.
Worked closely with an Agnes Scott College professor to better understand practical teaching methods while helping students with material both inside and outside of the classroom
Performed 4 full-class deliveries (90 minutes) throughout the semester to practice teaching skills

Undergraduate Chemistry Research Supervisor & Teaching Assistant 2010 – 2015
